Lee, docked at port. Released as part of his celebrated "Historic Ships of America" series, this piece showcases Gaines’ signature hyper-detailed line work, masterfully capturing the intricate riggin g, towering smokestacks, and bustling historic atmosphere. This particular deck has 3 deck of cotton load on it. The piece is hand-signed in pencil by the artist in the bottom right corner and includes the title/date plate details along the lower left margins. It comes beautifully presented in a substantial, high-quality wood frame featuring an elegant gold-gilt face, deep black inset banding, and a custom archival mat. Standing 27" tall by 21" wide, this striking, well-preserved piece is ready to hang and makes a phenomenal focal point for traditional, nautical, or Americana-inspired interiors. I found this piece at an estate sale in Boise, ID. See less
