Each shade is sculpted … Read more A collection of hand-built ceramic pendants in the European Brutalist and studio pottery tradition, circa 1960s–1970s. Each shade is sculpted from heavy stoneware with richly textured surfaces, from matte chalky whites and raw earthy taupes to glossy amber-browns and smoky, drippy glazes. The shades come in stepped, bell, bottle and rounded forms. All are decorated with raised, organic cut-out openings that cast a warm, dappled glow when lit.

Each piece is one-of-a-kind and highly sculptural, with a strong handmade character. Variations in glaze, texture and form are part of their charm. These would make a striking statement over a dining table, kitchen island or entry, alone or grouped together. They suit mid-century, organic modern, Japandi, rustic and eclectic interiors.
