This 16-inch tabletop stand is a decorative wooden display base, designed with Chinese lacquer techniques. The top panel is framed by a black border with a classic key-fret pattern, featuring a warm, ochre-yellow ground filled with detailed paintwork and relief elements. At its center, an oval cartouche bordered in white and gold depicts a pair of red mythical phoenixes facing each other amid green foliage and a large crimson peony flower, topped by the traditional horizontal six-character mark “大清乾隆年製” (Great Qing Qianlong Period). Surrounding the center motif are stylized symbols and floral sprigs, while the apron and low, curved legs are adorned with flowing green and dark-red scrollwork, resting on connected base stretchers.
