A little sparkle, a little drama. This elegant sautoir necklace in the style of Chanel brings together numerous strands of tiny black glass seed beads and a long, fluid beaded tassel.
The centerpiece features a glossy black barrel-shaped bead encircled by three rows of clear rhinestones alternating with raised gold-tone bands. A round black bead connects it to the tassel below, where delicate strands loop back on themselves for a softly rounded finish. The unclasped necklace measure 24" end to end with the tassel adding an extra 9" hang... so full hang of the necklace is 21"
Gold-tone petal-shaped caps gather the beadwork, while larger black beads frame an ornate oval clasp accented with a single clear rhinestone—a lovely finishing detail at the back of the neck.
With its Art Deco-inspired silhouette, French sensibility, and striking black-and-gold palette, this necklace makes an elegant statement over a simple dress, silk blouse, or sweater.
