A beautiful 1960s Italian ceramic lidded vessel designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, likely from the celebrated Pietra collection. Handcrafted in Italy, the piece features a sculptural rounded silhouette with a fitted lid and richly textured, concentric bands of glaze.
A sophisticated palette of warm cream, earthy browns, and natural terracotta is punctuated by vibrant mustard yellow stripes. The layered glazes and rhythmic horizontal detailing highlight Londi’s distinctive approach to form, texture, and color.
Originally imported by Rosenthal Netter, retaining its original paper label with model number 267/7. In great vintage condition.
