Their construction recalls the artisanal character of italian brutalist lighting associated with poliarte. This is a stylistic comparison only; the maker remains unidentified.

thick metal bands intersect in an irregular, open lattice, joined by formed loops and knots. Curved and split ends introduce movement, while the staggered candle-style lights lend each composition asymmetry.

weighing approximately 8.4 kg each, these sconces have a substantial physical presence for their size. The gold finish contrasts with the dark green-toned ground, emphasizing the worked surfaces and dimensional construction.

subtle differences in the finish and individual details give each sconce its own character while preserving the coherence of the pair. When illuminated, the open metalwork casts shadows across the wall.

each sconce accommodates two e14 bulbs. Two e14-to-e12 socket adapters per sconce are included for use with e12 bulbs. Both fixtures are equipped with a grounding conductor and designed for hardwired wall installation.
