A striking wrought iron chandelier of medieval inspiration, dating from the 1940s.
the piece features six curved arms ending in volutes, each terminating in a circular candle cup fitted with an electric socket dressed in a white wax sleeve faithfully imitating a candle. The central column is enriched with decorative motifs of stylised keys and interlaced rinceaux, hallmarks of skilled artisan forge work from the 1940s. The crown is finished with a decorative rosette of forged floral elements and a ceiling fixing plate. The whole rests on a generous structure
it will integrate beautifully into a large entrance hall, a dining room with stone or exposed-beam surroundings, a castle-style interior, or any space seeking a strong medieval or rustic statement piece. Its imposing scale and graphic silhouette make it a natural focal point.
the chandelier presents a deep brown-rust patina resulting from natural advanced oxidation, with visible rust traces across the entire surface — traces of wear consistent with its age. The wiring allows connection anywhere in the world
