Instead of regular flat painting, the scenes and the characters depicted are sculpted into a three-dimensional porcelain masterpiece, contrasted by the incredible smoothness of other parts of the items. The collection was inspired by Wiinblad's great love for music and theater, in particular for Mozart, the author of the 1791 Opera "The Magic Flute".
To complete this beautiful project, Wiinblad placed relevant passages of the Opera's Libretto in the bottom of the pieces, written in gold using his own handwriting. The result is a true Masterpiece. An exceptional statement object for a variety of interior environments, especially Mid-Century, as well as a great addiction to a fine porcelain collection or a curated art-forward tablescape.

We have just acquired a huge collection from a SoCal collector in unused condition. Some pieces have very, very minimal shelf ware, barely noticeable. We would rather sell the complete set, however, we have listed the pieces separately for an easier listing and shipping process. The set is also available for pickup at our Showroom in DTLA.

This listing is for a rare Set of 2 Open Serving Bowls that can be used for several foods. These Bowls have the Bisque sculptural finish all around which makes them even more attractive and highly collectible. The Bowls are unused, in excellent condition which makes these rare pieces even more desirable for collectibles, designers and home owners.

Dimension (Inches): Larger Bowl 8W, 4H. Smaller Bowl 7W, 3.5H
