The architectural frame features sculptural ram's heads, intricately worked garlands, and a dramatic crest incorporating a classical urn and suspended swags. The decorative vocabulary recalls the refined interiors of the Georgian and Regency periods, particularly the neoclassical designs associated with Robert Adam.

The rectangular composition is especially striking, with a central beveled mirror surrounded by additional mirrored panels, each separated by richly ornamented giltwood detailing.
