A handsome set of six Chippendale-style side chairs with richly carved, pierced splat backs and shaped crest rails. The warm mahogany-toned frames have carved cabriole legs ending in claw-and-ball feet. The chairs feel substantial and are beautifully detailed, with an elegant traditional profile suited to a formal dining room.
The sage green and gold geometric upholstery is in generally good condition. Two visible spots/marks remain on the fabric and have not been treated; please see the close-up photos. A new owner may prefer to reupholster the seats to suit their space.
Offered as a set of six side chairs. Maker and date are unknown.
