This striking vintage padlock is a highly decorative, sculptural piece crafted to resemble a stylized camel. The main body is made of dark iron or bronze, featuring incised detailing and highlighted with gold-toned brass inlay that outlines the camel's harness, saddle, and facial features. A large, U-shaped brass shackle arcs over the camel's back, acting as the lock's hasp. Hanging from a wire loop around the shackle are two ornate, matching brass keys with elaborate, pierced scrolling designs. The lock is heavy and solid, serving as a unique decorative object or paperweight.
