Classic Kostabi composition of mannequins forming a surreal scene of lovers rising from a crushed can.
Quickly read as a singular message of lovers embracing in the crush of passion. A painting done on the back of an unfinished painting of another figure catching his shadow, with a halo only showing in the shadow. Enigmatic and suggestive of a secret soul following the man., a painting that remained unfinished but was drawn over and also signed by Kostabi.
The dimensions are 26" wide by 40" tall. A stretched canvas, unframed. See less
