Southwestern Sterling Silver Figural Charm Necklace with 15 Figures, 925
An unusual sterling silver statement necklace featuring 15 individual dangling figural charms, each depicting a stylized figure with distinctive facial features, headdresses, and engraved geometric ornament. The figures vary in pose and design, creating a lively procession of characters along the necklace.
The figures have a graphic, folk-art-inspired appearance, with incised lines and darkened recessed details that accentuate their forms. Their stylized designs may evoke Southwestern or pre-Columbian-inspired imagery, although a specific cultural attribution has not been established.
The charms are suspended from an articulated sterling silver chain composed of alternating elongated rectangular and oval links, allowing the figures to move freely when worn. The necklace has a substantial presence and an eclectic, sculptural character.
The individual charms and clasp are stamped “925,” indicating sterling silver fineness.
Closure: Spring-ring clasp
Length: 20.5" and 1.5" height of tallest charm
