This is a rare brass thermos, used in the 1920s and 30s to hold either drinking water for the Hindu pilgrimage across India that lasted several months. The brass kept the water cool across long distances, and with both an interior threaded stopper and the threaded cup, the design made transporting it very easy without spilling. The best thing about this, is that it is complete, including the little threaded stopper, which was frequently lost.
This would have been hand-threaded and includes a swivel handle.
It stands 11"T and has no measurable damage.
