The original painted surface shows tonal variation, wear, and chipping that contribute to its aged character. Ornate carvings frame each door, while subtly weathered metal hardware adds contrast. Built from wood, the cabinet has a robust structure and practical storage behind its double doors; its generous scale suits a bedroom, dressing room, or spacious entry where vertical storage and a sculptural presence are welcome. The traditional styling is balanced by the muted gray finish, allowing the decorative facade to stand out without overwhelming a room. Its height makes it especially well suited to rooms with generous ceiling clearance, and its depth provides useful storage without an overly broad footprint.

Measuring 61¼ inches wide, 28¼ inches deep, and 105¼ inches high, this armoire stands just over eight feet tall. Its original painted finish has visible wear and chipping consistent with age, and the intact carvings show minor surface abrasions. The structure is sound, with no visible repairs or replacements. These signs of age remain part of the piece’s character, and the armoire is ready to provide substantial storage while serving as a distinctive focal point in a collected interior. See less
