Fine detailing defines the facial features and helmet, while the draped fabric across one shoulder is modeled with a flowing sense of movement. The substantial sculpture stands on a round pedestal base, giving the figure a balanced profile and a strong presence from every angle. Its subject and neoclassical character recall the tradition of Grand Tour souvenirs inspired by the art and sculpture of classical antiquity. Display it on a console, pedestal, or in a library or living room as a focal point for a collection of classical objects.

Measuring 18 inches wide, 11 inches deep, and 31 inches high, this 19th-century bust is made of plaster and retains its original finish. A consistent patina gives the surface an aged appearance. Minor surface scuffs and small chips are present at the base, consistent with age and handling. The sculpture remains structurally sound, with no significant damage or repairs noted. Its impressive height and sculptural detail make it a distinctive decorative object for interiors with neoclassical, Italian, or eclectic furnishings. See less
