Antique German blown glass case gin bottle, late 18th–early 19th century. Tapering square sides, a short neck and an applied lip, wheel-engraved with flowering sprays. Pontil mark on the base.
Case bottles were made square so they'd pack tightly into a wooden case, which made them ideal for gin and other spirits on ships and in cellars.
10" tall, 5.25" x 2.5".
