The design blends American mid century modernism with chinoiserie influence, most evident in the black lacquer bases, stylized drawer faces, and geometric brass pulls. Brass sabots cap each foot and provide a subtle counterpoint to the dark bases. The result is a versatile design that works equally well in mid century modern, Hollywood Regency, or more eclectic interiors.

Each cabinet offers two generously sized drawers constructed from solid white oak with dovetailed joinery. The contrast between the oak drawer boxes and walnut casework serves as a nice reminder of the quality of construction.

The pair has been fully refinished and presents beautifully, with only subtle signs of prior use remaining on close inspection. See less
