A sculptural vintage obelisk table lamp carved from natural coquina, a shell-stone known for its warm, porous texture. The tapering cream-and-tan obelisk rises from a heavy aged-brass plinth with stepped feet, finished with a bronze-tone stem and a matching ball finial. Because coquina is a natural stone, the pattern and pitting are unique to this piece.
The lamp has a two-socket cluster with separate pull chains, so it can run on one or both bulbs, and an adjustable brass shade riser that slides from 5.5" to 9" to set the shade at the right height.
Comes with a new beige linen drum shade (16" top x 16" bottom x 9" high, spider fitter). The shade seen in some photos was used for display only. Bulbs not included.
Measures 24" to the sockets and about 34" overall with the shade. Weighs about 12 lbs.
A striking piece for an entry console, living room, office or bedside in a Hollywood Regency, coastal or organic-modern room.
