Hand-painted cobalt blue flowers and leafy flourishes decorate its white glazed surface, complemented by a dramatic elongated spout, sweeping scroll handle, and round pedestal base. Blue edging traces the sculptural silhouette, giving this petite pitcher a striking presence.

Measuring 7.5 inches tall, this decorative ewer makes an elegant accent for a mantel, bookshelf, sideboard, or china cabinet. Display it on its own to highlight the graceful profile, or pair it with other blue-and-white ceramics for a layered traditional, French country, or grandmillennial-inspired arrangement.

The underside is marked “Delft,” “Handpainted,” and “Holland,” with a hand-painted number that appears to read “205” and an additional maker’s symbol. A charming addition to a Delftware collection or a thoughtful gift for a lover of Dutch pottery. See less
