Now this is how you serve a proper drink! A fabulous mid-century equestrian double-decanter caddy, pairing two substantial diamond-pattern glass decanters with a wonderfully detailed equestrian metal carrier.
The caddy is full of terrific equestrian details. Large sculptural stirrup forms frame each side, while miniature riding fences stretch across the front and back. A handsome cognac-brown leather-look handle with decorative tooled edging wraps over the top, giving the entire piece the character of vintage tack. The two matching decanters retain wonderful gold-tone hanging liquor tags marked “GIN” and “SCOTCH” in a graphic starburst design.
Each rectangular decanter has an allover raised diamond pattern, a gold-tone collar and a large matching glass stopper. Together they make an impressive bar display, while the unusual handled caddy turns the pair into something far more memorable than your average vintage decanter set.
A clever swiveling inner metal bar at the top rotates into position to help secure the decanters within the caddy, then swings aside to allow them to be easily removed—a wonderful bit of functional vintage design.
A wonderfully distinctive piece of vintage barware for an equestrian home, hunt-country interior, gentleman’s bar—or simply someone who likes cocktail hour with a bit of character.

The metal caddy shows considerable age-related finish wear, including oxidation, pitting, tarnish, discoloration and areas of finish loss, most noticeably along the interior handle and lower frame. The brown leather-look handle shows light surface wear consistent with age. Stopper fittings show age and wear to the cork and flexible seals. The swiveling retaining bar operates as intended, allowing the decanters to be secured or released from the caddy. Overall, the set remains structurally sound and presents beautifully despite the aged metal finish. Measurements are approximate. less
