Importantly, they were manufactured in Knoxville, TN - making them a collector's item for enthusiasts of both Swedish design and American made furniture. The Overman facility in Knoxville began producing chairs in about 1977 and the design and label on this pair suggest a production date in the late 1970s.

The pair of chairs feature chrome 5-footed pedestal bases in great shape that are attached to the chair bottoms with steel plates and bolts. The chairs swivel well. They are sturdy, but very light. The tufted vinyl backs and arms envelope you in comfort and mod style as you lounge, read, or listen to music. The seats are have small vinyl cushions that are removeable. The cushions are a little flat with wear, but still comfortable. The vinyl is the original production color and style - complete with Overman labels. Both labels are on the same chair. See less
