This bleached oak counter was once used at a French mercerie (men’s clothing store) during the 1800s. The (viewable) front consists of three square recessed panels flanked by fluted corbels adorned with a pinwheel at the top. On the back side is a series of 12 drawers of various sizes arranged in an orderly fashion.
