The design captivates with its strictly architectural lines: The body impresses with a geometric silhouette dominated by a tapered spout. This angle is mirrored by the distinctive, triangular handle on the opposite side. Even the small knob on the hinged lid continues this motif as a delicate triangle – a prime example of the radically modern design language of the period between 1900 and 1925. The original hallmark of the Berlin metalware factory H.A. Jürst & Co. is located on the underside. This renowned manufacturer was known as a royal purveyor for its exceptional alpaca silver plating. This high-quality finish gave the pieces the lustrous elegance and durability of solid silver. The pitcher has a capacity of one liter and has been thoroughly cleaned and carefully polished by us. It is in very good, age-appropriate vintage condition with a subtle sheen and an honest, gentle patina. See less
