Designed by Børge Mogensen in 1956-57, the "Medestolen" armchairs, model 2254, were produced by Fredericia Stolefabrik. Mogensen, a key figure in Danish Modern, developed a fundamental collaboration with Fredericia and Andreas Graversen from 1955 onward, based on natural materials, clear construction, and furniture designed to last. The geometric oak frame supports a woven rattan seat and backrest, complemented by the original removable cushion covers in olive green wool, preserved in excellent condition. The leather straps have been replaced. The armchairs are in excellent overall condition; the rattan has some small localized damage, visible in the photographs. official proof of authenticity,
