The single plank teak table top is from the top of an old trunk that was made in the first part of the 20th century and later placed on an old teak table base. The old teak wood just glows with a gorgeous patina. The table legs are tapered and carved to add a decorative accent. Because teak is such a heavy wood, this table easily disassembles into two parts for moving and transport. The groove on the underside of the table top, where it originally rested on the base of the trunk, fits over the teak table frame and legs. The table is strong and ready for many years of use and enjoyment.
