• Material & Texture: Rather than smooth steel, they are crafted from heavy cast aluminum with rough, organic, or heavily textured surfaces.
• The "Black Dots" / Dimples: The piece features a distinct, dish-depressed concave center on the top and side details. These hollows, dimples, or heavily patinated relief areas are treated with a dark, contrasting finish that gives the visual appearance of prominent "black dots" or voids on the metallic block.
• Dual Purpose: They were designed to serve both as pure minimalist abstract sculptures and as functional tray-like objects (such as a vide-poche or coin tray).
• Signature: Authentic versions are typically signed "Burchiellaro" engraved on the top side.
