Sourced from a private estate in Monaco, the piece has graceful proportions and a romantic decorative character suited to both traditional and eclectic interiors.

The solid beechwood frame displays characteristic Louis XVI details, including fluted legs, carved floral ornamentation, ribbon-inspired motifs, and balanced neoclassical lines. The frame has been professionally refinished in an antique-gold leaf finish, highlighting the detailed carving while retaining the character expected from a century-old piece.

The settee has been newly upholstered in luxurious deep blue velvet. The generously padded seat features elegant button tufting, while the side sections are finished with finely pleated velvet for additional texture and decorative interest.

A particularly attractive feature is the oval medallion backrest, which depicts three women in traditional 19th-century-inspired dress within a pastoral setting.
