An elegant pair of vintage side tables by Councill Craftsmen, a respected American furniture manufacturer celebrated for its quality craftsmanship and traditional designs.
Designed in the timeless Queen Anne style, each table features graceful cabriole legs, delicately shaped aprons, and a single storage drawer accented with a traditional brass bail pull.
The rectangular tops showcase beautifully figured wood grain framed by contrasting decorative banding with mitered corners, adding warmth, depth, and visual interest. The rich reddish-brown finish complements the tables’ refined silhouette.
Their versatile proportions make them equally suitable as living room end tables, bedside tables, or sophisticated accent pieces in traditional, transitional, and eclectic interiors.
An original Councill Craftsmen manufacturer’s label confirms the provenance.

The tops exhibit surface scratches, finish wear, minor marks, and areas of uneven coloration, particularly around portions of the banded borders. Additional minor imperfections are consistent with vintage furniture. Please review all photographs carefully for a detailed representation of the condition. Our inventory features a curated selection of vintage furnishings and decorative pieces, each with its own character, history, and age-related imperfections. As vintage items, condition will naturally vary, and signs of previous use—including minor wear, marks, finish variations, or other imperfections—may be present. These characteristics are part of the individuality and history of each piece. Photographs are provided as an important visual reference for condition, and we encourage buyers to review all images carefully. We believe the beauty of vintage lies not only in its design, but also in the character acquired through a previous life. A single image has been digitally staged to showcase potential placement and styling. The remaining photographs provide the most accurate representation of the piece’s condition, finish, and overall character. less
