A vintage decorative plate featuring a softly scalloped, rounded-square silhouette. Signed “Cardwell,” the piece has no factory maker’s mark; the identity of the signer and the manufacturer are unknown.
Its gently undulating outline lends itself beautifully to display on a plate stand, in a cabinet, or as part of a collected plate arrangement.
The reverse has an ivory-colored glazed finish and a raised circular foot ring. Wear and discoloration are visible around the underside foot ring.
