Beautiful set of four antique oak dining chairs, featuring striking quarter-sawn tiger oak grain and richly detailed embossed leather seats. Dating to the late Victorian or Edwardian period, these chairs showcase gracefully shaped crest rails, elegant fan-shaped splat backs, and gently curved legs. The decorative leather seats feature intricate floral and scrollwork motifs, secured with ornamental metal tacks. The firm seats reflect traditional antique construction.
A wonderful combination of craftsmanship, character, and timeless design, perfect for an English country, Arts and Crafts, or traditional interior. Includes two armchairs and two side chairs. All chairs are structurally sound , one of the chairs has a repair at the leg and one seat has an upholstery nail/stud missing (see last two pics ). Side chairs measure 18.5” W x 18” D x 38.5” H .
