The silhouette depicts a traditional horse-drawn carriage or stagecoach scenario.

SCENE: On the far left sits a driver in a top hat holding the reins, accompanied by two passengers. The carriage is being pulled by two teams of two horses in tandem, frozen mid-stride to capture the motion of travel. A charming historical detail is the lamp post positioned between the two teams, contextualizing the scene as an urban or village street setting rather than an open-country road. The entire scene is mounted onto a horizontal arrow base used to point into the wind.

CONSTRUCTION: The piece is made of flat sheet metal showing a rich, natural surface oxidized patina from decades of weathering. It features a blend of earthy brown rust spots and a golden-bronze undertone. A prominent cylindrical iron collar is welded directly into the main support bar. This hollow sleeve was slipped over a vertical mounting rod, allowing the entire silhouette to rotate freely with the shifting wind.
