A spectacular, authentic antique French hard-paste porcelain ice water/lemonade pitcher crafted by the prestigious factory Tressemann & Vogt (T&V) Limoges. This elegant Edwardian-era server features a gracefully flared base, a beautifully sculpted architectural loop handle, and a heavily scalloped pouring lip. Notably, the interior features an integrated porcelain "Ice Catch" strainer grid built right below the spout—a fantastic historical engineering detail designed to restrain ice cubes and prevent splashing while pouring. The matching dome lid features a traditional locking groove mechanism that slots into a tiny pinhole on the inner rim, holding the lid completely secure while tilting.
The piece is masterfully hand-decorated with lifelike white and soft yellow summer daisy blossoms tucked amidst delicate sage green foliage. The painting utilizes heavy, raised impasto enamel detailing on the flower petals, giving them an incredibly tactile, three-dimensional depth against the glossy, snow-white porcelain ground. The elaborate handle, scalloped rims, and lid finial are fully embellished with thick, rich 24k bright gold gilding showing marvelous, organic Art Nouveau scrollwork.
The bottom is fully documented with dual hallmarks from the manufacturer: the green underglaze "T&V France" blank manufacturing mark alongside the purple overglaze "T&V Limoges France" bell decorating mark and "Hand Painted" banner, dating this piece strictly between 1907 and 1919. This is an elite investment piece for a collector of fine French porcelain or an elegant addition to a Grandmillennial or traditional dining display.

The interior and built-in ice strainer are pristine and clean. The extensive 24k gold gilt work on the handle and rim is remarkably bright and intact, showing only a minute touch of expected, gentle shelf wear along the unglazed resting rim. Note: There is a minute, stable, under-glaze manufacturing "pepper spot" (a tiny speck of natural iron oxidation from the original kiln firing) on the side wall, as is entirely common and expected in authentic turn-of-the-century hard-paste Limoges porcelain. less
