The upper section is particularly attractive, incorporating five open display shelves arranged around two side cupboards. Each cupboard contains three internal shelves, providing excellent storage alongside generous open space for displaying ceramics, glassware, books or decorative objects. The lower section provides further practical storage through two central drawers and two generously proportioned cupboards. The drawers and doors retain their original brass handles and fittings, complementing the warm tones of the oak and preserving the period character of the piece. The dresser is raised upon gracefully shaped cabriole legs, creating an elegant silhouette that provides a refined contrast to the substantial proportions of the cabinet. Particularly appealing is the oak itself, displaying pronounced natural grain and attractive figuring throughout. Rich, warm colour and an appealing aged patina highlight the quality and natural beauty of the timber. Very well constructed and presented in good antique condition, with appropriate signs of age and use consistent with its early 20th-century origin. For easier transportation and installation, the dresser separates into two principal sections. Standing over two metres high and 171 cm wide, this is a commanding statement piece offering an exceptional combination of display and concealed storage. Ideally suited to a substantial dining room, kitchen, drawing room or country-house interior. Dimensions: Height: 205.5 cm Width: 171 cm Depth: 55 cm Worktop Height: 91 cm See less
