The legendary French heroine is portrayed in armour with a composed, determined expression, creating a striking decorative sculpture with strong historical and classical character. The carefully modelled facial features, hair and armour give the piece excellent presence despite its relatively compact proportions. British made and weighing approximately 11.6 kg, this is a substantial stone sculpture suitable for both interior and exterior display. The antiqued terracotta-coloured surface gives the bust the appearance of an aged architectural or garden antique. An attractive focal point for a garden, terrace, conservatory, library, entrance hall or traditional interior, particularly effective when displayed upon a pedestal or architectural plinth.
