Two glazed doors in timber frames that lock with the original lock, and four height-adjustable shelves inside. The carcass sits on an overhanging stepped plinth resting on two solid runners — and it is that base that gives the piece its stance. The walnut veneer is strongly figured, laid along the grain. The shelves are 21 cm deep: the depth of paperbacks and of good objects. Please note the bookcase travels in one piece and cannot be taken apart.
