This piece of understated design features a substantial hat rack forming an openwork trellis at the top.

In the center, the woodwork frames a large mirror and a bench whose marquetry seat lifts up to reveal a storage chest.

On the exterior sides, wide bentwood arches form umbrella stands.

This functional entryway piece is reminiscent of the creations of the cabinetmaker Thonet, particularly in its use of bentwood.

In good overall condition, with some restorations and signs of wear; the seat back is upholstered in simple white fabric.

The zinc trays for the umbrella stands are missing.
