The vibrant red field is beautifully contrasted by an abstract blue rock formation, delicate flowering branches, and elegant birds in flight, along with bamboo motifs — symbols of harmony, resilience, and nature in traditional Chinese design.

This piece reflects the unique aesthetic of early 20th-century Chinese Art Deco rugs, blending traditional Eastern symbolism with modernist artistic expression. The rich color palette and sculptural design elements make it a true statement piece, perfect for collectors or as a standout decorative accent in an interior.

The rug is hand-knotted in wool and retains a soft, luminous pile. It remains in good antique condition, with visible signs of age and some old restorations, which are consistent with its age and history.
