The composition features a soft peach-toned field adorned with subtle repeating floral motifs, centered by a stylized medallion that anchors the design. The field is framed by a deep navy border enriched with geometric patterns and symbolic elements, creating a strong visual contrast and a balanced architectural structure.

Characteristic corner spandrels and decorative motifs reflect classic Chinese influences, while the overall symmetry and clarity of form align with the Art Deco aesthetic. The harmonious palette of peach, ivory, navy blue, and soft beige gives the rug a warm yet sophisticated presence.

Handwoven in wool, the rug offers a dense and durable pile with a pleasant texture underfoot. It remains in good vintage condition, with light, age-related wear that enhances its authenticity and character.
