The slender, tapered mahogany legs rise with the characteristic restraint and architectural grace of the Louis XVI vocabulary, supporting a neat arrangement of smooth-running drawers with delicate original brass hardware that add both practical storage and decorative charm to the composition. The rich mahogany has mellowed to a deep, warm tone over more than a century of bedside service, its natural figuring catching the light with a hushed, intimate luxury perfectly suited to the bedroom setting. The cool white marble top — gently veined and bearing the soft surface patina of genuine antique stone — crowns the piece with a final note of neoclassical elegance and material refinement. Compact, graceful, and timelessly beautiful, this nightstand brings an unmistakable sense of 19th century Continental bedroom luxury to any sleeping space. Sourced from Belgium, a deeply lovely and distinguished example of the Louis XVI bedside tradition at its most charming. See less
