This striking vintage porcelain vase is crafted in the classic Meiping (plum blossom) silhouette, with a broad shoulder that tapers down to a narrow base. The vessel features a prominent, overall craquelure (crackle) glaze that gives it an aged, antique appearance. Decorated in vibrant underglaze cobalt blue against the crackled white ground, the main body is divided into large, lobed panels (cartouches). Inside these panels are detailed figural scenes depicting elders and children in traditional garden settings with stylized rocks, bamboo, and trees. The shoulder and lower sections are decorated with scrolling floral vines and borders, while the base features a band of upright panels enclosing stylized lotus and auspicious symbols. The flat, unglazed base shows a natural, heavily textured finish.
