The most striking features are the large, sculpted gilded (gold) handles on the neck, adding a rich, three-dimensional architectural element. The body is heavily decorated with multiple bands of vibrant patterns: cobalt blue grounds with floral scrolls, bright yellow bands with geometric fretwork, and colorful lappet (petal) borders.
The centerpiece is a large, framed panel (cartouche) painted in classic Famille Rose (Fencai) style. It features a beautifully detailed scene of birds (appearing to be magpies or pheasants) perched on branches laden with red blossoms and green leaves, all set against a subtly textured, cream-colored "diaper" ground (轧道工艺). This vase is a true explosion of color and texture.
