It showcases the highly celebrated traditional decorative style known as "Millefleur" (or "Thousand Flowers" / 百花不落地).
Unlike traditional vases that leave white space, this piece is entirely covered in a dense, continuous tapestry of vibrant, hand-painted flowers—including peonies, chrysanthemums, and morning glories—in a brilliant array of pinks, purples, blues, and yellows. There is virtually no empty ground visible, symbolizing a wish for endless prosperity and auspiciousness. The piece is beautifully finished with prominent gilded (gold) lines that accentuate its faceted edges and neck, adding a luxurious, imperial texture and a striking visual structure.
