This is a matched pair of elegant vintage porcelain vases featuring a classic flared rim and a gracefully tapering body. Crafted from fine white porcelain, each vase is beautifully hand-painted in the Famille Rose palette. The design showcases trailing blue vines adorned with vibrant yellow and purple gourds, interspersed with delicate yellow blossoms. Distinctive red bats are painted in flight around the body. In traditional symbolism, the gourd represents longevity and prosperity, while the bat is a homophone for good fortune, making this a highly auspicious motif. The design is further enhanced by a soft, pale peach banding around the shoulder. The rims and base are finished with a delicate gold outline.
