A striking Brutalist wall sculpture of three stylized, tree-like forms in torch-cut brass, mounted on a warm walnut panel. The rough, molten edges and hand-worked surface give the piece the sculptural texture that defines midcentury Brutalist metalwork, and the brass has developed a rich, mellow patina over time.
Made by Peter Pepper Products of Wilmington, California, the studio known for sculptural wall art in the 1960s and 70s, and marked with the company's label on the back. Tall and narrow, it suits an entry, a stairwell, or the wall above a console, and it reads as art from across the room. Fitted with a hanger and wire, so it is ready to hang.
Good vintage condition with an honest patina. Please see the photos for the finish.
