Standing … Read more Three distinct poses, sweeping sleeves, and sharply angled hats give this vintage Japanese dancer trio an expressive sculptural presence. Standing approximately 9¼–9½ inches tall, these are the larger versions of the figures - a substantial display size that brings their graceful silhouettes and cast details into focus.

The set includes one dancer with arms extended, another with hands gathered in front, and a third reaching toward her hat. Their contrasting gestures create a balanced composition, with broad kimono sleeves set against slender, gently curved bodies.

Cast in iron, the sculptures have a richly textured charcoal finish with muted green-gray highlights. They bring depth and movement to a console, mantel, or open shelving, complementing Mid-Century Modern furnishings and Japanese-inspired interiors.

Commonly identified as Awa Odori dancers, the figures were made in Japan. One retains its Japan label beneath the base. Offered together as a coordinated set of three.

In great vintage condition, with attractive finish variation and light surface wear consistent with age.
