This set carries the maker’s stamps on the underside. The table is round when closed and opens with a butterfly leaf to seat six. The set includes six chairs, each with three tapered legs, a curved teak back and a black leather seat. The chairs nest under the tabletop when not in use.

Open the table and you’ll find a small surprise. Tucked inside was a note from its previous owners, written to explain how the table opens. It felt like a message from the past, a reminder of the meals and gatherings this table has hosted. We decided to keep it.

The wood has been repolished and the original patina kept. There’s wear on the teak and the leather, consistent with age, and it’s visible in the photos.
