Golden amber plumage contrasts beautifully with a deep red comb and wattles, sweeping dark tail feathers, and touches of green. The rooster stands in an animated pose with an open beak and one foot raised, perched on a sculptural blue-and-black base.

Molded feather details and flowing glaze variations give the piece depth and character from every angle. Its substantial scale makes it a charming focal point for a kitchen island, dining-room sideboard, hutch, or collected country interior.

An appealing accent for French country, Italian-inspired, traditional, and farmhouse settings.

The underside is unmarked. Offered in the style of Italian majolica.

Approximately 10ʺ wide × 14ʺ high × 6ʺ deep.
