A fabulous coordinated pair of vintage Kyes Moiré Glaze serving trays in two gorgeous complementary colors: a muted blue and soft celadon green, both framed in warm brass-tone metal and finished with wonderfully graphic openwork Greek-key handles.

Handmade in Pasadena, California, Kyes became known for its distinctive Moiré Glaze decorative wares. The technique paired richly colored enamel with textured metal to create a shimmering, watered-silk effect, often finished with ornate metal handles—a wonderfully glamorous expression of mid-century California entertaining.

These two trays are graduated in size, with the blue tray slightly larger than the green, making them wonderful displayed together. Use them for cocktails, a bar or coffee-table arrangement, serving hors d’oeuvres or simply as decorative objects. Stacked together, the contrasting blue and celadon surfaces and repeating Greek-key handles are particularly fabulous.

Both trays retain their original “Moiré Glaze / KYES / Hand Made / Pasadena California” maker’s labels, with greater wear to the label on the blue tray.
