Description
An imposing mid-20th-century Asian Revival cast brass table lamp executed in the archaistic Chinese bronze style, reminiscent of iconic designs by James Mont.
Featuring twin openwork dragon-form handles framing a central baluster body cast with relief taotie mask motifs, leiwen geometric borders, and an elongated fluted neck. Raised on a flared cast brass base with crisp, dark incised detailing throughout.
Standing a substantial 30 inches tall to the socket, this piece offers dramatic Hollywood Regency scale, sculptural presence, and rich vintage brass patina for a console table, desk, or sideboard. Includes its detachable shade harp.
